HARRIER THUNDER BASSES?

Right now my thoughts are "what colour to get it in" !
I hope it gives us something similar to the SX craze in the US (well, TB US members
)Baker69, If it's not too much trouble could you possibly post a pic of the back of the control plate on your Harrier showing the wiring? I tried to introduce a series/parallel switch last night and I've went wrong somewhere... Now I've not got any sound 
I tried to wire it up as it was before following a Seymour Duncan diagram but this doesn't seem to have done the trick either.

Here's a pic of the wiring, not very good quality so I hope it is clear enough to see what's what.
I had to disconnect the earth wire from the bridge plate in order to turn the control plate over enough to photograph it. (It goes on the vacant tag on the tone pot).
I hope it's of some use to you. Incidentally, there was no identifying marks on the pots to check as to what value they are.

The only thing it is missing is another black wire which would be the ground wire from the bridge.

I decided to change the "Harrier" logo as I thought it looked a bit naff.
Replaced it with this, what do you think??
It did involve having to clear lacquer the headstock (before & after the application of the logo) which took a bit of time but am really pleased with the result!

I know I'm joining this debate late in the day, but I've just bought myself a Harrier J Bass from ebay for the unbelievably cheap price of forty five pounds. To be honest I didn't expect much but I and my teacher were really surprised at how good a sound was coming from the 'Tangerine Dream'. The quality and quality control seem really good, and it was well set up straight from the box. My next purchase, should I deem myself worthy will be a retrovibe Rickenbacker copy!

Glad you're pleased with your Harrier Bass, they really are remarkable basses for the money. Mine too came pretty well set up spot on, the intonation was a bit out but that's about it. I did however swap the stock pickups (which aren't too bad anyway) for some Mexican Fender Jazz pickups so it's now even better! I've also swapped the White Scratchplate for a Black one, so now in all Black it looks really cool.
Yeah, I've seen the Retrovibe Rik copies, they don't look too bad, they don't sound like Riks at all IMHO (different type of pickups for one matter). I've looked at a few photos of them and am not 100% sure whether the body shape is exactly like a Rik, it could be the angle of the shots but the 'horn' on the Retrovibe doesn't seem to be as long as a Rik???
