this is my current amp I play with.I also have an old 60 watt fender that has no low end.Anyway I bought this amp at the local pawn shop in perfect condition. With adjusting the tone control and equalizer to my liking,i am very impressed on how loud and solid of a sound that comes out of this 12 inch aluminum speaker. This amp has thunderous low end,and a clear high output sound.it took me a few days of adjusting the equalizer but I got my sound I was looking for.I love this amp..Anyone else have any input about this amp?

I got supplied one at a doo-wop theater show in Staten Island I did about a year ago. Very cheap promoter. The one I got was pretty old and dilapidated and had a lot of cranky knobs that made a lot of noise, but once I found a setting that I liked and could leave the knobs alone, it wasn't bad at all. I just got an Ampeg BA112 v2 a couple days ago and I like it better ;) but the A70 is a very respectable little combo that, as the Ampeg stuff does, focuses on good tone over bells and whistles.

Just ordered the Dave Ellefson model from American Music Supply. $249.99. Found a 5% off coupon online. So $237.49. Tried the Ampeg Ba112, awful quiet for 50 watts. Tried the Orange 12" whatever the model is. It was $269. Will report back once I have it.

I ended up blowing up the Hartke.Fried the mother board some how.Ampeg ba112 I agree is very quiet for 50 watts and i'm not a fan of ampeg at all really.I think the logo is cool but the sound just doesn't cut it for me.I stick with fender amp.I got the new Rumble 100 and it is by far the best amp ive ever owned/played!
