Hartke TX600 amp failure.. why?

OP, I hope you get your amp or a replacement back soon.

Just as a recommendation I think you should ditch your 1/4” speaker cables and go exclusively with SpeakOns. They are very much better than Phone plugs for speaker cables. As amplifier power goes up the connectors go past their safe operating conditions. 2-300W is all they’ll safely take. I did this quite a few years ago, even for my PA and Monitor cabinets.

I agree. But, in my case I have the Hartke LH500, which I love & it only has 1/4" jacks. Wish every amp gave you the 1/4" & SpeakOn option
