Has anybody changed their knobs for aesthetic reasons?

I didn't put them on, they came with the bass, but I love the look of mine:

I've always loved those woodgrain matched tone knobs! BTW, I hope you got a great deal on that bass because it looks like somebody fell asleep routering that bridge pickup. It's all crooked like:hmm: :D

I put clear black speed knobs on my basses. One for the look and two because you can see what the settings are. They match perfectly with my guitars.

In the "nobody's going to notice but me" file... I changed the knurled Dome top knobs on my SX P to Flat top knurled knobs. I know it's probably splitting hairs for most people, but I like the Flat top knobs WAY better than the Dome tops.

Hah, you're not alone. I had knurled dome knobs on my P/J bass and replaced them with flat top knobs.

I actually had push-on import black knobs on my Jazz Bass and replaced them with Fender hex-screw Jazz knobs for authenticity.
