Have you been on a bass camp?

Next week I will attend my very first music camp, so I'm pretty excited! The focus is on funk, and at the same time there's also a camp for drummers, so there'll be lots of chances to practice together. We got preliminary tasks working with two songs. One of them is Cissy Strut, which I love I'd like to hear your experiences! I think that in my country, this kind of camp is rather unique, so I feel lucky to attend.

It sounds like the kind of alternative vacationing that might get real big in the near term future.

I remember hearing about Victor Wootens bass camp when he first started and I thought he was nuts.

But then I realized how amazing it'd be to vacation with people who were into music.

For me personally, I'd love to spend 2 weeks hanging out in a recreation of some classic rock studio. Maybe record a bunch of covers of metallica's black album.
