have you designed your own body shape?

I have gotta see if my old friend still has the bass I frankensteined back in the late 1980's. He gave me a fretless Rickenbacker 3001 that was the Worst. Bass. Ever. so I took the neck & bridge from that, bought a Bill Lawrence dual-blade humbucker and a Bartolini 6S (the single coil pickup that replaces the foam mute in a Rick bridge) and then built my own body from Eastern Rock Maple with a 1/4" split cap of paduak.

I'm not much of a woodworker, so the execution was kinda ghetto. The body shape looked like a cross between an original Modulus Quantum 6 (the thru-body 3-pickup version from the early 80's) and a Teisco Del Ray. I gave it back to my friend after I played it for a couple years, and I think he lost it in a divorce settlement decades later, so I don't have pics and may never get any. Sigh...

tried to search the topic, but didn't find much-
I'd like to see body shapes designed by members here.

If you've got a bass or a concept for a style/shape that is uniquely your own I'd really like to see them.
thanks

I have one that is a take on a certain style and one that is modified off another extremely popular style and one that I am fiddling about with on paper.

But until I build them, I'm not tellin.....:D

The fretless is one of the SEI designs that I modified for a 3 octave neck. The fretted design started as a blank peice of paper:
