Let's just say I hate ice.
(I'm waiting for a post with a picture of bass fish getting high.)
I think safety and practical measure are just as valid for a musician (if not more) compared to many other occupations.
Not only is there a trip hazard, but we work around electricity, on stages, risers and around lighting instruments as well as special effects.
I stopped tripping years ago, my bass didn't. I think it started smoking crack, it didn't come home again last night.
There is another hazard as well, and is something I have been struggling with to find a solution. It's the out-of-control females in the audience who are always rushing the stage trying to get a piece of my clothing. Sheesh! My VISA bill is huge every month with me having to go buy new clothes all the time. Can't those chicks just relax and enjoy the music for what it is?!? I'm not just a piece of meat, ya know. Sometimes I fear for my life when I'm up on stage performing. It gets a little scary at times.
