Can someone please post a simple drawing for me ? I need to re-wire a 4x10 8 ohm cab to 16 ohms. Each speaker is 4 ohms. My brain is not working tonight : ) Thanks!

You can't rewire an 8-ohm cab to 16 ohms. As Bill mentioned, either the cab is not an 8-ohm cab, or the drivers are not 4-ohm drivers. You should resolve that issue before you proceed.
Speakers in a 4x10 are usually wired "series-parallel" and this give a total impedance equal to the impedance of a single speaker:
8+8 //(<-parallel) 8+8 gives a total of 8 ohm or
8 //8 + 8 //8 still gives 8 ohm.
So what you want to do is not possible unless you change the speakers (or you use only two speakers wired in series).
