Alright sounds like whoever said that I had a ruined outlet appears to be correct
How much would I expect it to cost to have a speakon outlet replaced?

Depends on how it was done originally. If it's a lookalike jack that is PCB mount than it may not use a standard footprint which will make it more complicated.
Find a qualified service tech, they will be able to sort it out with the standard repair parts available.

Hopefully not board mounted. I don't know why they wouldn't use the real deal, but I hear it's been done by some manufacturers.
