Having to use the restroom onstage

We usually play about a 40 minute set, and in that time i usually will drink about 3 pints of beer, never had to take a leak while playing though. Usually with all the energy going threw me while i play i dont even think about it... Back in middle school when i played percussion, we were putting on a concert, i had a stomach bug and had to dip off stage halfway threw to go take care of business.....

I had one experience with this that was an absolute horror show. Only time I'd ever been to Brighton England, and at a really important headlining gig. 2 1/2 hour set, guthrie govan was joining us for a couple of songs. The bathroom was 2 flights up in a packed venue, and the only way I could get to it was through the crowd. The urge kicked in during the 2nd song.

If I lived it again, I'd have peed in my pants. Was stupid for me to ruin that evening for myself by holding it in. When we were done we got an encore. Everybody had to wait for me.

a drummer i play with sometimes has to stop between songs to pee. he has some sort of blatter condition. he was telling me of a time where he was playing live and he had to pee in the middle of a song, but just roughed it out through the rest of the song. by the end his blatter was like bulging out of his body.
