Looks like Reverend also introduced a new finish with pearl white and gold hardware for her signature bass. I've always felt like she has been severely underrated as far as popularity among bass players. She definitely had that wow moment when she first got noticed but then settled into the background quite a bit. Maybe I'm wrong and just haven't kept up with her career much but that's how it feels to me.

She has really changed her style over the years and she has not always focused on bass for all of her projects. She won a Grammy for her James Baldwin album and I need to make myself listen to it.

But at some point it became just too mellow for me. I miss the energy, the fire, the contrast… and in the end I lost interest in her art and stopped going to her shows, which is a shame.

I went to her show last year, it was great. She'll take over on the bass once in a while and kick ass still.
