Head decals for VM Jazz bass

Old fender decal ready to come off.

'62 decal in place and lacquered,
heads and strings refitted, job done.
My VM is now looking as it should.

Definitely a great job. I used what I did because it's readily available locally. Not so waterslide paper, but if I decide at some point to revert back to a Squier logo, I may order some online and do it as you did. Very nice.

It's been fun for me to see some of the custom jobs in various threads, which has gotten me started now.

Also nice in this thread to see a Squier restored to a near original condition.

After a short sabbatical of about 20 years, I stumbled upon a cheap Squier affinity Jazz Bass and decided to pick up the noble art of playing the bass guitar again.

I loved the sound and playability of this bass, it just needed some small upgrades imho which, however, went totally out of control.

Now I’m done, I guess. The finishing touch was replacing the imo ugly headstock decal. I wanted an early 70,s Fender Jazz Bass like decal, but how to find one?
Google pointed me in the right direction, which is this forum and especially Nick. (Thanks Nick for a great job done creating these Squier decals)
