I also think dolphin (Warwick already claimed it), or something aquatic.., don't ask me why - the "Sea Kelp 5r" just doesn't resonate. Maybe it's the "fins" at the

"Squid-Bass"? (playing off "Squid-Games"- loved it) Inky is dark - basses are dark, it has a tentacle (?), and it's a 5-string (low tones) bass like the depths of the ocean where these sea-creatures dwell... Gildaxe/GEO Squid Bass...

I like that comparison visually - but Betta or Beta is too cyber ... too easily aligned with tech. Thanks otherwise Tom!

With it's shape and vibe, plus the designer's name, I can't help but suggest "Geoduck". It's pronounced 'gooey-duck', ya gotta google it.

ah yah... I think I'll avoid that as a name for my bass...

Got the EB flats and they are keepers. Was able to tighten the tr a smidge resulting in nice action w/o buzzing. I'm not one to go for super low action - 'low enough' works for me, and the bass is right there now.
