Very good news, based on our initial messages he needed detailed dimensions… so I took apart my 5’er to take a bunch of photos and created a very detailed drawing with measurements from 4 elevations. He’s using that to build a couple of brass 5s for me. I’ll let you know once the first one is complete and hopefully will be able to post a photo of 2.

Quick update… I’ve seen 2 brass prototypes so far, so the work is in process to create the 5 string version of these based on my dimensional diagrams.

He already has a 4 String version, the five string was not developed and I had to provide the dimensional drawing so he could build it. Just search for them on eBay he’s got the 4 string versions out there ready for you to buy.

I’m in the US as well. He is in Ireland.

I posted the link but didn’t work, here’s a pict so you can search on it. I have no affiliation, just asked if he could make a couple for a 5 and he did based on the picts and dimensional drawings I provided of mine.

Built to my exact dimensions and look great. In discussions to have him build some solid brass bridges as well. Highly recommended.
