Headstock redesign choices ~ Final 3

Was piddling with designs a bit more as I did my high resolution final versions... I think I have it down to 3 versions. 2 of which are a high tech twist on the previous ones. Carbon Fibre.

Final thoughts on these 3?

I appreciate all the help. I think when this is done it will definitely be something that will screw with gear snobs minds when I play live here in Nashville until they sort out what it really is. :D

.

I'd say Final #1 and #3 are the most elegant. If it was my call I'd maybe try to combine the decals so that the "O" in OLP would circle the headstock on the little guy's bass, to save some space and get a more linked and compact flow.

Well, after getting the neck off, and the initial rebadging sanded off I started deciding which design to use.

In normal fashion I ended up using something a bit more stylish and artistic. When putting the others on the bass itself I just felt like the bass had a classier feel then what I was putting on it, so I decided to go with this design that from a distance would only be recognizable as 'something unique's there', but up close would be a payoff if someone had interest enough to check it out. Should be a conversation starter if nothing else.
Clearcoats of Stewmac Nitro will start going on tonight. Undecided yet if it will be a matte finish, or glossy. Just depends which allows the detail to show best.

Now I'm out of headstock's to futz around with again. :: sigh ::
