Heaviest currently made Cabs ?

I very much appreciate all the feedback here from everyone. You guys are the one's in the know, as far as I'm concerned. I'm not looking to convince a theory on anyone here, I've found... In general, What works for my application. I just wanted some input on finding current heavy cab offerings. any 18" cabs I should know about?

Plenty of old 18” PA cabinets that would fit your criteria. Best part is that heavy cabinets can be found for pennies on the dollar.

you might as well just settle on old Peavey PA towers from the 80s. The great part about PA gear is that a lot of vintage stuff sells for really cheap. I'm sure if you look at Craiglist you'll find something

I don't even bother with used gear. I only buy new, money isn't an issue for me these days. I'll probably have an 18" custom built at some point. sad to see so many great models of past, not being built anymore.

Sad for you perhaps, but I guarantee that it's not sad for the vast majority including those of us who worked on the road during BOTH eras. I for one would never want to move say an S4 or an MLS-3 ever again and I wouldn't even wax poetically about the experience.
