Hey everyone, I’ve been reading everything in site lately on here but I’ve been a member for years and have never (I don’t think) ever posted. Always gotten a Happy Birthday email from TB though.
ANYWAY, I’m now 61 years old and wondering how the heck that ever happened. I’ve got way more gear than I deserve and my skill level certainly doesn’t justify having what I have.
I play primarily in a Praise & Worship band in our small contemporary church in Fairhope, AL. I recently ordered a Fender American Pro P bass and it should arrive on Saturday (August 4th, 2018), But I put it on my sig line anyway since I’ve already paid for it.
My desert island bass is my Modulus Q5 but I have a good feeling about my incoming Fender.
Oh, and I have a Taylor GS Mini bass in koa wood that I take on mission trips, but I ran out of room in the sig line. One more - an upright.
Anything else you folks want to know or ignore?

Well, since you ask, if they're your tattoos in your avatar, who did them? They look good.

Also, having being around so long you oughta know it's downright rude to talk about them basses without posting pictures for the rest of us to drool over.

Ha! Yes, the ink is mine. A young man in Fairhope, Alabama did them over the course of about 7 months. His name is AJ Ludlow and not a nicer guy could you meet. He specializes in old school traditional tats and since I AM old school, that’s what I prefer. It’s a fully music themed sleeve.
I wondered if anyone would mention me not posting pictures of the new bass. Okay... I don’t have it yet, but here are a couple of shots of the bass I was sent:
