Hello everyone, nice to be here!

Greetings to the TalkBass members and staff!

I’ve been lurking here for some time, I decided it was time to join up so that I could better contact some of the fine people I’ve met on reverb that also use this site without pestering them via email. I really appreciate all the gear reviews and discussion that I found so far!

Welcome to TB!

What are you playing? And do you have pics?

Music style or equipment? As to style, I gravitate towards classic rock and big band/jazz standards. I was raised in a band, my father led a six piece; drums, bass, piano, and three horns. Always big band and jazz stuff, playing clubs like FOE, Elks club, outdoor festivals, etc..

Unfortunately, about five years ago I collided with a deer riding a motorcycle. Messed up my left hand pretty good. After that long of missing out on playing music at all, I finally decided to sell off my guitar gear (I used to play both) and get more serious about bass as it’s what I’m limited to now. I even had to get rid of my prized five string, four string is all I can really manage without pain.

Sorry to hear about your injuries. Good on ya for getting back what you can and moving on.

Really grooving on bass puts a smile on my face; may it be so for you too!
