my name is matt "capnsandwich" andrus and i'm here in columbus ohio. i've been playing the bass for abou 7 years now. i started out playing guitar and i've been doing that for about 16 years. i only took up bass because my church needed a player so i picked up an ibanez rb and fell in love. i've been a full time thumper ever since. i still play in church but also play in a progressive rock band here in central ohio. i play with some great musicians too. right now, i've got a warwick corvette w/ active-passive preamp and the ibanez. my rig consists of a gk 700rbII with an alesis compressor and a bbe sonic maximizer. i run all that through a tubeworks 4x10 and a gk 15. so much thunder. so much fun. i love the bass, although i still rock on the guitar. i'm more of an acoustic player. i think all together, with basses, electric, and acoustic guitars i have a total of 8 instruments and 3 amps to play through, not including alot of toys and gadgets.
