Hello from NJ...

Dave here...dabbled with an old SR500 a few years ago, but never had much free time (kids)...Now that the kids are gone, have some free time and am looking to get back into the bass. Call me crazy (am 52), but what better to do in my spare time than play? A while back I got a great deal on a Gibsin LP, so I've been messing around with that too. Anyhow...my goal is to one day (in the not to distant future) have a nice little studio in my spare room where friends/family can come by and have some fun! Im sure liking all the info on here, and have already picked up quite a few ideas/tips. Im looking to buy within a month or so, and am spending a lot of time researching all things bass. Sorry bout the long post, will keep things shorter in the future!

I have my "pout room" over the garage. All my stuff is here, computer, keyboard, guitars, TV, ham radio, futon, easy chairs, a half bath and when I get the microwave and small fridge I can just move in.... Forgot, there is an exercise bike up here somewhere, I seldom use it...

Friend got too old to use his wood working tools so he turned his shop into a picking parlor. People do drop by on the week-ends and jam acoustic.

Welcome to our World.
