I realized I didn't formally introduce myself. I'm a teacher a husband and a dad of 2. I live in Espanola Ontario. I've been a musician since I got my first bass at the age of 15. I played bass throughout the90s but switched to guitar, then stopped altogether in the early oughts. I picked up guitar and started writing songs in 2004 (I have 2 Americana albums done and am working on a 3rd since then).
I decided I needed to own a bass because I was tired of using midi upright or borrowing them for recording. I picked up an Inamez ATK on boxing day and I'm hooked again. Already studying theory and scales and made a resolution to learn an iconic bassline each week this year. The first was What Is And What Should Never Be. Not quite sure what will be next.
Anyway, happy I found the forum and happy to be back on the 4 string.
