Pittsburgh, that is. I've been lurking for a month or two, playing bass off and on since I was 18 (I'm 34 now), and am finally breaking down and starting posting.
I just started the process of ordering parts to put together a custom bass, and have been reading up on this site to learn about the how-to's of assembling a bass. Right now, I'm trying to learn about different wiring configurations for it (it's going to be a passive jazz bass - Warmoth wood, Barts). It's apparently not the easiest thing to learn from scratch via computer research.
I'm also interested in finding new music to listen to. Of course, I'm a music junkie, like everyone on here.
I love the site - It's great to have a group of fellow bass players to learn from, and also nice to see there's others out there that are obsessed with wood
