I'm a songwriter. I write mainly grunge songs and I'm preparing to start recording demos.
I consider myself a writer first, then engineer, then performer.
I suck at playing instruments but I like them all the same.
After finding my ideal guitar sound (Les Paul, DS-1, Orange Tube) I am now moving my attention to bass.
I haven't the time or money to record real drums at this point so I use BFD
Anyway, this looks like the 'gearslutz' of bass forums so here I am.
