Just wanted to introduce myself. My name is Dan, I love playing and building guitars and basses. I've been stalking this forum for a long time and figured it's about time I join. I've read so many useful threads here, and I've learned so much. I put myself through college playing bass, and made my living as a bass player for many years, now I am a freelance audio engineer and bass player on the side. I have a youtube channel, youtube.com/gunsandguitars, but I'm not here to promote it, though I may post a video here from time to time if I feel like it would be useful info for other users. My intention is not to promote my channel, but to be an active contributing member of the bass player/builder community. Thanks so much for being such an awesome community! Glad to be a part of it now.

Be advised that a vocal minority in these forums have declared war on guns.

Because the moderators are powerless to control the vitriol that gets spewed in threads about firearms, they have thrown up their hands and banned the topic.

Enjoy your time here, but steer clear of talking about your love of, or right to own and bear, firearms.

Hey Charlie, thanks for the heads up! Like I said I'm only here to be an active part of the bass player community. I have no intention of talking about guns here, I'm a member on plenty of gun forums for that. I appreciate you looking out for me! I'll remove that piece from my initial hello, haha

No I don't own a shop. Just a YouTube channel, and blog/webstore coming soon. My focus isn't on selling crap, it's more for the hobbyist. Tips tricks and hacks for gun and guitar building/modding. Maybe a retail store someday, but business administration isn't my strength, I'm just an artist really.
