Hello!

Welcome. Yes I've seen your posts before, keep chiming in. I see that you have already received 83 likes, so in case you were not kidding about playing a song soon.......

So we may help, when playing a song what do you use, tabs, fake chord, ear, chord tones, standard notation, patterns, or what?

I use fake chord sheet music, the major scale box, Nashville numbers and chord tones -- R-5-8-5 is my ole stand by bass line, with a 3 & 7 thrown in for most of the comping I'll be doing. Pure hobby bassists, we all had music stands on stage... If you would like to know more about that, just ask.

Again, welcolme.
