I used to own a Spector NS-2005. It was the Korean neck-thru version. A nice bass.Though I've never played one so I have no idea what it sounds like, has anyone here played one??

Have you played a millennium bxp? I found a few of those on GC pretty cheap, or should i go for the other foundation s?
Crystalman85 said:Play one?...I own one. it's really a great sounding bass. it's got a nice punchy sound and it goes easy on your budget. also it's passive. there's also an active version called the millennium ac. it also sound great, but personally I dig the passive version. I haven't played the foundation basses, but I've heard some good things about those basses. peavey makes great bass guitars. I do recommend these basses along with some other basses like schecter, ibanez, jackson, dean, fernandes, etc. if you do come across the foundation and the millennium basses at your local guitar center, test them out and see which peavey bass is right for you.

I may have a deal happening with a TBer here for an Ibanez
Crystalman85 said:There you go. Ibanez makes awesome bass guitars. I own an ibanez sr255(for my band) and an ibanez sr250(for my brother's band) both in a candy apple red finish and they sound totally awesome.
Yeah, one of my buddys has an sr500 and has been a big advocate of them too, in fact pretty much everyone I've talked to loves them so it seems a pretty safe bet I'll enjoy it.
