Don't sweat it. Just give him the bad news as nicely as you can and hope he is mature enough to accept it gracefully. There's no milage in squabbling over the page.

You never know, when his voice finishes breaking in he might turn into an awesome singer.

His voice just isn't meant for singing at all. And he's not willing to improve. He thinks he's the best. Oh and his voice would piss you off too hahaha. He has extreme nasal problems and horrible allergies too. Its just not worth waiting 4 years over. And his guitar playing too.

Yeah, but my bass teacher hooked me up with an extremely talented guitarrist, and jamming with him was the best jam I've ever had. I also played better because I didn't have to worry about what the guitarrist was doing. I could focus on what I was playing. And man were we tight

IMO, delete the old web page(with the unusable band name) and move on. Don't waste any of your time being the admin of a page that means nothing. Your time is better spent practicing/rehearsing with you new guitar player.

I suggest you say nothing about the guy's musical talent or personality to anyone. It gains you nothing but enmity.

Since all bands breakup I suggest you put in writing your expectations for any group you start/join.

thats our youtube page. listen to the singer/guitard'ist in any videos, but the latest is the coffee house vid. That was the worst night of my life. Tons of feedback, we were the only band with drums, and i didnt get to play bass AT ALL all night. I was pissed at that. but i would say the "unedited from the black barn" video is our best. (i have greatly improved since then)
**** in the "coffee shop vid- he's the one in the white tee and gangster hat hhahaha.
** oh and the other thing is that our guitarist is obsessed with editing all our videos, which i find unprofessional. and ruins it all.

yes but he is a dear friend of mine, and i want to remain friends. i believe letting him keep the page will keep things good between us, especially since the drummer and i hate the name, and only the guitarist likes it. and we cant change the name on the page according to facebook.
