wow, That would be awesome. The bridge looks like the original pickup but obviously moved..The neck pickup definately looks like the Gibson "mudbuckers" im seeing on Google.. I guess ill have to open it up..Thanks!Neck pickup and bridge are Gibson...from an EB-0/1/3 or more likely a Kalamazoo.

I don’t claim to be an expert on vintage Japanese basses but I do like them and I don’t recall seeing that Basin St model before. My first thought was that someone was copying, or trying to, the Ovation Magnum. Glad she plays and sounds good!

Havnt heard the mudbucker due to a broken mini switch, and the nut was missing so I just have one floating there precariously that i happened to have in a parts box, but good enough to test. Intonation might be spot on! low action, beefy monster, solid. Huge neck!! like half of a baseball bat!
