Help Identifying Flatwound Strings

I recently purchased a Fender Ultra Jazz bass that came with flatwounds installed. I really like these strings. The seller (music store) does not know the brand. Please help identifying the brand.

Here are pictures of the strings. Note that the ball ends are somewhat unique, they are E-brass, A-silver, D-black and G-brass. The silks are black. Thank you for your help.

Are you saying Dunlop Flats have always had those multi-colored ball ends as described by the OP? Or, is that something new they started doing?

They’ve started doing it on the recent Super Bright rounds that I’ve bought so I think it’s a recent change.

The consensus is that these are Dunlop flatwounds. These are great strings. They feel smooth with the right tension and sound great across the frequency range. Thank you to the awesome TB members for your help.

They’ve started doing it on the recent Super Bright rounds that I’ve bought so I think it’s a recent change.

Interesting... Something I wasn't aware of. A very unique feature for ID purposes. Thanks for the info.

did dunlop flats always have silk on the ball ends? i have a set that look like dunlop flats with black silk on the headstock end but no silk on the ball end and all the balls are brass.

Yes, the Dunlop Flats have always had black silk at both ends.

Black silk at tuner end only with all brass ball ends = La Bella 760FS (45-65-85-105)
