Help Identifying this Fender

Any idea what model this is? Looks fairly old school.

Interesting.....I know a lot about Fender history, but not so much about the eighties. Is this one of those short-lived attempts they made to keep up with the superstrats and hair metal bands? If so, it might be a really good deal if you can get past the headstock.

Snap it up. It's rare. I have a fold out Fender catalogue somewhere with it. They came out the same time as the f-hole precisions that were fretless. Not sure of the value, but it is a Fender and you don't see them often.

HRT meant something about "heavy". They had and HMT Strat at the time too. Very rare, but not neccesarily collectible. Could be cool for the right price (and only you can determine the right price for you.)

My buddy has a Fender guitar that has the logo like that. Rare bass I'm sure. I'd grab it if it is a good price.
