Help IDing a Mexican made Fender P-bass

Its a friends bass, plays incredibly. Super thin neck, incredibly low action, 5-string. Small headstock with 2 knobs on the bottom and 3 on top instead of the regular one on the bottom for 5strings. Serial number shows MZ3055029, but all that seems to tell me is that its mexican made and in the 2003-2004 range. Is there anyway I can either squeeze more information out of the serial or is there a site that anyone knows that lists the Mexican made fender models? I want to know what model it is. It only says fender on it.

When I had a mexican Precision, I learned the way these basses are numbered:
M = Mexico.
Z = Zero, which is the first number of the "decade" the bass was made. This number will be used in conjuntion with the next one:
3, along with the Zero, means it was made in 03, that is, 2003...
055029 would be the serial number of your bass.

Mine was a MZ8, a mexican made in zero 8, that was 2008. The ones made in the U.S. begin with N, and the same logic applies to the second and third digits of the serial number, as far as I know. Hope it helps.

Yeah, it seems that most sites only give you the date manufactured when you type in your serial number. And while it is nice to know, the date doesn't really help me in this situation. Learning how the serial number is broken down is helpful. But I'd really like to know what MODEL this bass is. Mostly so that i can go about getting my hands on one, hah! Im sure theres a TBer out there that can take one look at the picture and tell me what Fender this thing is.

hello,
i recently bought a Fender P bass body off of ebay. it was advertised as a MIM 2006. it is chrome red with a white pickguard. the numbers in the neck cavity are indistinguishable. what i have is a serial number from the pickup (bridge side) which is MO 0941351
i cant find this nmber anywhere on the Fender website or others. one site where you type in the number said it was unrecognized. the "O" might be a Q because the bottom of the sticker is painted over. the finish is nearly mint on this body which makes me question it being 5 years old. there are no signs of use at all. i have pics but don't know how to post them. any help or info would be greatly appreciated.
