Help in identifying Cabinet

Will someone who is familiar with vintage FENDER gear please look at this link and help identify the cabinet that Mike Rutherford was using in his rig. This photo is from Headley Grange, summer of 74, for the writing of The Lamb by Genesis.

Impossible to identify from just that picture - but does appear to be late 60's - early 70's "large" cab and could be a 2-12 or 2-15. Lots of room in those cabs. The size was increased pretty much just for "the look." With optional JBLs, could sound real good. :cool:

Well, I can see one speaker only on the left side of the cabinet... don't know if this is a 12 or 15 inch... Phil is a very small guy and it looks like a 15 to me but I can tell.

I bet I could measure my RICK body and then transfer that to the photo and see the relationship of the speaker to the rick (can't be too far forward in that Phil is sitting on the cabinet).

And has anyone used a dual showman as a bass cabinet? Wouldn't that blow the speakers?

PS - I will put more photos up on the same original link of this rehearsal space and maybe that will help more? I am leaning toward 2-15s... what Fender cabs were available back then with dual 15s?

A few points:
Collins appears to be sitting on a stool in front of the amp, which makes the cabinet appear smaller by comparison.

A Dual Showman with two 15" D140 JBL drivers is one of the best bass amps ever built for small to medium venues. IMO

The cab pictured looks like the 4-12 Bassman cab I used to own.

Edit: Look at the depth of the cab. The dual showman cab is ~11-1/2" deep while the Bassman cab is more like 16"-17" deep.

Yeah, I can see the outline of only ONE speaker to the left of Phil... and yes, I see he is on a stool... so it probably is a 15 inch speaker.

I added another picture and perhaps we can tell how deep the cabinet is with this one.....

This is good stuff folks, I appreciate the help. After we determine this cabinet, I then have to find out if Mike used this in Wales for the tracking of the album. I don't know if anyone is going to remember. The cabinet is KEY in getting Mike's FUZZ sound nailed.

The shadow could be a 15, or it could just be a Shadow. To me, whatever it is looks off center toward the bottom of the picture. Fender 2-15s were centered along the long axis, AFAIK. This latest picture also makes it look more like my old 4-12, but I am not sure about anything at this point. It could be a 2-15.

We're kind of looking at it from above, so the center line isn't exactly in the center. If you look at the photo where you can see the fasteners for the amp (on the end of the cabinet) you can envision where the center line of the cabinet is and that (to my eyes anyway) lines up with the center of the speaker.

Not arguing at all. The "speaker shadow" makes me want to say 2-15, but the apparent depth makes me think 4-12. I'm really out of guesses at this point. Hope you guys figure it out.

Another point of confusion for me is the two "posts?" on the exposed end of the cab. They look like they may be the amp hold-down thumbscrews, except that they look too close together for either a Bassman or a Showman.
