Help! JBL opinions

I have two fresh JBL's..E140 & 2226, both 8ohm. the 2226 is in an EV-design TL606 cab.

i want to keep one JBL but not both.

usually play either J or P-basses thru an Aguilar outboard preamp to either a SWR 550x or 400RB, finally to the EV/JBL with a SWR Goliath Jr. on top.

style is 70's/80's rock/r&b/blues..like it deep.

finally to the question. do i keep the E140 or the 2226?

Which one is designed to fit the encloser better. I'm no speaker expert, but there's alot more to loading a speaker into a box besides driver size, you know.
