We're driving a 5-hour round trip to see my daughter play at music camp. We're in a crappy noisy rental car (Hyundai Tucson, ewww) that's so bumpy it makes my teeth rattle. My wife is forcing us to listen to the Grateful Dead the whole trip. THE WHOLE TRIP. Take a moment to let that sink in.

Oh and she's singing along. :(

She keeps telling me how much she loves them. Like I didn't realize that after 30 years.

1 hour in. I don't know if I can make it. Somebody please issue an amber alert. And pray for me.

This is a bad thing? A number of years ago I drove across the desert from Dallas to Los Angeles listening to nothing but The Dead for 3 straight days. On cassette! Great roadtrip music IMHO. I kinda wish I had driven slower, but it was August and I had no air conditioning...

Edit: But no Donna The Dead...
