Help me identify this old cab

Hello all,

I’ve bought in spring 2020 and the seller told me it was a Traynor 1x15 cab. However, looking at the 1x15 YP-15 and YS15 pics on the web, I’ve realized that it wasn’t a Traynor.

Maybe seller thought it was a Traynor because of the Marsland 15 inches inside. Now replaced with an Eminence Beta 15A.

Looks like some Bassman cab but I don’t know enough...

It looks more like a Fender style cabinet construction and aesthetic wise.

But definitely not a Fender

It could still possibly be a Traynor cabinet.
I have seen Traynor Cabinets with more fender style corners and grills.

Also Garnet made many fender style cabs
and likely used Marsland drivers as well

I found this labeled as a Garnet D15TR

But keep in mind Garnet has many amps referred to as "Stencil amps"
Since Garnet manufactured cabinets and amplifiers and was rebranded by as many as 30 different brands

Make sense... I forgot that Garnet also used Marsland. Solved mystery!

Haha, it’s a « United », kidding! I didn’t even know that Garnet had a lot of stencil brands...

Two Garnet’s actually in the local classifieds (Kijiji). I prefer the more utilitarian look of the Traynor’s however...
