Help me with the noise please

Hello! I have been suffered from the noise (maybe because of the ground issue) for about a year. But cannot figure out how to fix it. Can you help me with what I can do?

The gears I am using are MacBook Pro 16inch, Audient id44, Kiesel ZBM6, and Fender J Bass.

1. There are noises even though I touch all the strings. Of course when playing too.
2. The noises are decreased when I touch the audio interface and the Mac.
3. The noises are more decreased when I touch the metal injection part of the cable

The apartment I am living in is more than 30-40 years. So maybe this problem could be the ground issue. I am probably sure it would be the ground issue. My bass is shielded and I checked it in the shop. Also, I changed the cable and the battery but nothing changed. However cause I am not a good electric engineer, it would be hard for me to open the plug and do some works.

The interesting part is that the noise is noticeably strong when I record with the Kiesel, although it has humbuker pickups.

I posted an audio file. I recorded it more than 2m away from the Mac. The first half of the recording is playing with nothing and the second half is when I touch the metal injection of cable with my right hand and plucking open string with left hand.

Hope is there any way I can do with the noise. Thank you. I can tell you more if you need some information to diagnose my situation.

I record into a MacBook too. I have noticed that I get more noise when the MacBook is connected to mains power, so I always disconnect that and record while the laptop is running on its internal battery.

Other than that, it sounds like a job for shielding. Have you verified that your shielding has a good connection to earth (the ring of the jack)?

I always disconnect the power whenever I record something.

Well.. it sounded fine in the repair shop. The manager said he found nothing wrong with the electric circuit or shielding of the bass. I've been to several shops before but couldn't hear anything wrong with the jack. Maybe I should find other shops to solve the problem.

The correct tool for checking shielding is a multimeter, not ears. Hopefully your shop understands this.

Electrical interference changes from building to building, and from room to room. This is life in the 21st century, with all of our electronic gadgets surrounding us. Does the noise change when you rotate your body 90 degrees? Does it change when you’re in a different room, or even outside?

I recorded every possible area where I can record with all the electronic gadgets nearby turn off. And found the room I recorded earlier was the worst place. Other rooms couldn't erase more noises than I expected but changing rooms worked anyway. The noise is still disturbing but it is better than before.

Thank you for your advice. Perhaps I just need to only practice in my room and record in another room until I move to the new house.
