Can someone please take the time to give some tips and advice on my tone, it would be really appreciated since I cant figure it out myself. I play with a pick and I have a tone that I kind of like on my A,D,G stings but they get annoying to listen to fast and sound very bright even at low volumes and when when I play E it get tooo bassy and just fills the room and overlaps the other instruments which doesn't sound good.
I mostly play metal/thrash metal with only one guitarist and I want that clear tone so you actually hear what the bass is doing but I also want a even bass frequency that accommodates and ties the guitar and drums together well but doesn't get to much, a little like Jason Newsted (Metallica) or Rex Brown (Pantera).
So I basically want every frequency to be even but still so you can hear the brighter tones as well as keeping that little klang and metal tone. This Is a working example but not exactly how I want since its hard to find what I mean.
I play a Warwick corvette and use the pedals and amp in the pictures. The picture's are not my setting btw but I would like tips please
