Help needed identifying this Bass

Hey Guys,
First Post on Here!

So my GFs father passed away over ten years ago. Today I was gifted one of his old Basses by her mother.

There is no serial No, manufacturer or anything on it, so I can't figure out who might have made it.

It's fretless, headless and active.

Any guesses?

Not too sure but the case looks like the bass would be made in Japan. Doesn’t quite look like an original case for that model though.
Too many bass items have the name magnum for the pickups to help much.
Cool score whoever made it, looks great!

The giveaway is the integrated hanger hole in the headpiece. It was actually touted as a feature.
Now if I could only remember where I've seen it before...

I dont think the case is original to the bass, looks like an Ibanez case.

The pickup script may be the only clue to the bass. Can you read what was printed?

Have you looked at the electronics for anything identifying yet?

Likely a 1980s Rockinger. These were "kit" instruments assembled from parts made in Germany.
