help needed: Pickguard fit

I wouldn't count on ANY pickguard fitting a MIM unless it came with the bass. If you want a guarunteed fit, send your original guard out to be copied.
Or depending how anal you are about modifications, you can go out and get yourself some wood glue and alot of toothpicks. fill the holes, and redrill for the new guard.
(MAKE SURE YOU CAN GET THE GUARD OVER THE PICKUPS ETC AND SITTING WELL BEFORE DOING THIS) use a drill press though, as i have a few crooked ones. better than double sided tape holding the guard on lol.

it should fit ... I know that a Hwy 1 Jazz p/guard fits a MIM Classic Series body ... both are ten hole, 'standard' pattern .. you may (or not) need to fudge the holes ever so slightly ... but good chance that it will ... but then ... like mentioned ... there IS a chance that it wont ...
