For me - the beauty of modularity and my pair of matching 15/6/1s is in the fact that I can leave one at home, leave one at the rehearsal studio, and combine the two for gigs.
This gives me plenty of extra flexibility over opting for a 15" sub, significantly eliminates the schlep factor, and allows for mirror baffling so I can walk fearlessly into any stage on the planet with a rig stacked any way I want! Let me know if you are ever in MSP, you can check it out.
