Help: Suggestions for new bass

Hey all!

Looking to upgrade into a new guitar. Have an idea of the features I would like (not all are necessary) and having a hard time finding exactly what I want. Hoping a more seasoned vet can direct me in the right direction. :)

List of wants:

-24 frets
-Active/Passive pickup switch
-5 string (may settle into a 4 but currently gig a 5 and do use the low B ofteL. Love tight B sound of Modulous Q5 but not sure I want to play one.)
-neck thru design (though may be open to bolt on)
-pair of dual coil humbuckers or at least the space to swap out pickups for a set of EMG DC's

Thank you in advance for any suggestions!

Currently gigging a Schecter Stiletto Studio 5.

Looking to spend anywhere up to max $2000 new or used. I know I can find a nice used bass for under 2k with all I need. Not really looking to play a Q5 or Fender...but something of similar quality and playability. Only one I have found nearby that I played was an nice Ibanez. Just wanna make sure I am not missing an obvious option.

Check out Carvin. They make great stuff and probably have every option you're looking for.

That was my thought too. Just about all their neck-through models - the LB75, Xcellerator, the Icon, and the Bunny Brunel - have the features the OP is looking for. I also thought of a used Peavey Cirrus, though I think it's active-only.
