HELP!!! Teisco Bass?

I think it's a a Kawai (Teisco) KB2 just like this one.

I found that eBay link earlier and decided it's not a kawai. If it was a KB2 it would have the k body style. I also found 2 more eBay links of this bass where they listed kawai teisco and Apollo as the company. I also found this Silvertone mosrite guitar that looks incredibly similar to my bass, but I have also decided it's not a Silvertone from more research.
There are just so many companies in the mix here. I've even seen guitars where they where advertised as silvertone by teisco as well as many more companies doing the same. In my post above it was a Silvertone by Mosrite. So this makes my chances of finding it very small.
Teisco made guitars and basses under different names, so it could be labelled differently but still be made by Teisco. So regardless what label it may have had or sold as, it would still be technically a Teisco.

Kawai is Teisco, or rather Kawai bought Teisco in the 60s.

...After Invalid Link Removed bought Teisco in 1967, they started to produce all the Teisco guitars, as well as their own brand, Apollo.
Now finding the specific model # may be pretty difficult unless someone here in TB has the relevant catalog that has this model in it. Best of luck in your research. Hope this helps.

Hi, I know this is a really old thread, but I just wanted to say I have this exact bass. Same color, same pickups, same pickguard, identical in every way, except that mine is missing the ashtray. I'm also looking for information about mine. This thread seems to have the only pictures on the whole internet that look like my bass.
For what it's worth, Invalid Link Removed has a pretty impressive collection of information on TEISCO instruments, and none of them look quite like this one. I'm sure it's not comprehensive, though.
