My '97 American Deluxe was string through. I don't know if Mexi Deluxe Jazz basses from that era were.THeres no info on the body. If you look at the FS thread I state its an AM deluxe preamp. Im guessing its an AM body with a replacement neck

Maybe Mmaybe. It's a 2 piece body though. Neck pocket is not stampedUpon looking some up, it appears USA were string through and Mexi were not. I found several examples. Here's one.
