Help with ID on odd bass.

I'm quite certain I've never seen anything like that before. The pickup positioning and surrounds are vaguely similar to some 80s designs from Gibson and Peavey, but not quite a match. Just a guess it's from that era, though?
That thing's so cool! How much do they want (in Dollarese)?
I see a "dokter Hatrmanch" mentioned in the comments to this video: perhaps the same luthier the author uses as a guitar tech?
I see "stainless steel" on the neck plate...is that referring to a steel neck or something else?

Nice! I like the tight string spacing (reminiscent of Fender Performer) along with the excellent upper fret access. That "Thigh-cutaway" looks like it could be very ergonomic sitting...

Google translate says it's in Kazakh, hence the KZclip logo. There's another one of this guy and guitar in a band translated from Thai(land). Best I could make out of the plate was "Stainless Steel Back Made" then it washes out. Under that is PATENTED.

The Kazakh site is (at lest in part) only a YT mirror site. Video and comments are in Bahasa Indonesia (I think). Without getting into the G-translate rabbithole, I *think* the artist is Jakarta-based: so may be the luthier who made the guitar and the OP bass.

I'm in contact with owner and trying to get better pictures. But this is all I have for now. The owner says it's "vintage" and it definitely has the late 70's, early 80's look. The current asking price is very cheap. I'm not close enough to see it in person before buying it. I thought this looked like something special when I first saw it. Special doesn't always mean good though.
Good catch. The video is in Indonesian. The bass is in Indonesia so it would make sense that it is Indonesian. The current owner believes the bass was made in the US. Which we know is not the case. It's very possible he just doesn't know what he has.
The comments to the video appear to say that the designer has passed away.

Just received somewhat better pictures. I have a feeling that is as good as they will get.
Hatrmanch. Never heard of them before. lnteresting looking bass. Many of the defunct manufacturers who made unique instruments back before the internet are hard to research because they never had websites. The only archived material is in printed form such as catalogs. Hopefully some survived. Sorry not to be more help.

I'm not saying it's the case here, but at one time I had a bass with a "custom headstock logo" that was (very) vulgar and offensive: posting it publicly could easily violate a given site's TOS.
Headstocks are not sacrosanct.
