I would email them , they will know . Looks like a custom shop to me .

Serial number suggests it's a 1997 build, and most likely from the custom shop. Is this yours?

no, it is not mine.
One guy wants to trade this one for 5-string bass.
I have G&L L-1505.

Are they in equivalent price range?

Letter from Schecter:

"We are very sorry to let you know this but this instrument is not real Schecter instrument.

We never built this type of bass, either South Korean made Diamond Series or USA custom shop model.

I think someone got our logo and put them on the bass.

It look to be a production model, so it could be done by large manufacture in somewhere in Korea or China.

Schaller logo on the bridge and the tuning pegs and Bartolini pickup logo on the pickups are also look to be not original. "

Well, that explains why it doesn't look familiar...good to find this out before trading for it, I guess.

On a side note, I'd love to have that case.
