I'm looking for a lighter weight/more portable set up that can play with a drummer and another guitar. Don't need anything ridiculously loud, and I'd love to keep it low in cost, be great if it didn't go over $500 bucks. I'd also probably prefer an amp and cab rather than a combo....
My thoughts are the Ampeg VR Micro Stack, the Trace Elliot Elf Head and the 2x8 cab, or a slightly more random (based on what is locally available) Ampeg PF350 with a MarkBass NY151 cabinet.
I guess in theory I'd be open to mixing and matching any of these too.
Any thoughts? Play a lot of different stuff but mostly hover around rock. Bass is a P....
