This. There should be no "that girl" until you have mastered the Theory of Quantity over Quality.
Also "that girl". Cut me a break,...if you are intimidated by a girl you are never gonna get anywhere with her. If you are lacking confidence in your abilities; then you are never gonna get anywhere with her. If you put them on a pedestal you are never gonna get anywhere with her.
You need practice son and that requires you to swallow your pride and knock boots with someone that may not live up to your "that girl" standards.

Don't get me wrong,...I'm not advocating being a jerk,...women just want to be made to feel like women. A good shagging by a man completely in control and comfortable with his sexuality is a whole lot more attractive to women then someone who is obviously sheepish, scared and uncertain. Bang some "not that girls" to build up your confidence that way "that girl" won't seem so intimidating.
The other thing to consider is "that girl" may turn out to be a huge disappointment on a date or between the sheets. Just cause you find someone attractive doesn't necessarily mean they know what the **** they are doing; or has any sort of personality. You may find that "not that girl" and you have some chemistry and that to me is a hell of a lot more then a girl that lives up to your "hottness" standards but can't tell her @$$ from a hole in the ground. Sheeee,....the fantasy spank might be more gratifying than the real deal.

I wouldn't use my bass playing. Just be yourself. You'd better tell you're nervous. Many girls like an honest guy. They don't like the bass player who is acting cool. Intelligent girls look right through the act and still see this nervous guy.
Just share the rainbow with all the "ladies" you can find, and you'll be all set...

LOL, even the sane ones end up going somewhat crazy once they start wearing a weddin' ring.
My "the one" turned ended up a little on the strange side, not that I had a chance in the first place.
I was also a little to focused on "the one" to notice if I was passing up other chances.
