I finally have my dream bass! My new neck showed up tonight and I just finished putting it all together. The neck barely fit, but with a little patience I managed to make it work!
Once I got the new strings on and began a set up I was blown away that the intonation was still perfect! All I had to do was adjust the truss rod a little and it's good to go!!😃
It's plays like a dream!! ImageUploadedByTalkBass1363753507.285421.jpgImageUploadedByTalkBass1363753520.431338.jpg

I have to agree, for me the only thing I'd have different is a maple board and a toggle switch for the pickups and keeping it all passive. Regardless of my own preferences that is a beautiful bass.

I was thinking maple, but I already have 6 basses with maple boards and the original neck on this bass was rosewood so I figured I'd stick with the same! I usually just run it passive at all times anyways!
I'm looking for a tort pick guard now, then I'm finished!:)
