  1. Can anyone help a brother out with the Dots?
    Or tab, or both?

    It would save me some time to work on those darn Jazz Standards my instructor wants me working on :)

    THANKS

    Disregard first post (wrong song)!

    Try
    1 - 3 - 5 - 6 - 6.5 - 6 - 5 - 3 -1
    in A

  5. THANKS

    please explain 6.5 ???

    btw> what song was the 1-6-5-3 in A ?

  6. check out youtube....the blues brothers do a fairly straight up 8 bar version and the bp keeps it simple

    Yeah, that probably made no sense, just the major scale in my shorthand.

    1 = A
    3 = C#
    5 = E
    6 = F#
    6.5 = G

    A better description would probably have been The mixolydian scale in A:

    1 = A
    3 = C#
    5 = E
    6 = F#
    b7 = G

    What was the other song? Almost --- another Blues Bros.

  8. Thanks
