WarwickFan said:Don't do it. How have you been trying to sell it. Localy in the paper? Put that sucker on eBay. I may be wrong, but I think all Warwicks are made in Germany, except the Rockbass. I don't think they ever made any in Japan.
Dincrest said:According to Warwick's website, the Alien acoustic bass guitar is made in Korea. Sorry for tangent.
EDIT: BassJunkie730- The Fender Geddy Lee Jazz Bass is a made in Japan Fender.
EDIT 2: On second thought, +1 on what Joe said.
But assuming it IS true and that truth is stranger than fiction...
It's clear that RATM doesn't want to listen to us/reason and will do what he wants anyway. We've had members in the past who were prohibitively stubborn like that. I too say trading a Dolphin for a MIM Jazz is like trading a Cadillac Escalade for a Hyundai Accent.
And for all we know, the only thing wrong with the Dolphin may be that the battery needs to be replaced. There were times I thought my bass' innards were crap and I had to push it hard to get a good sound, but a battery change made all the difference. It's one of those stupidly obvious things we all sometimes midd.

What he has is a Dophin Pro II. They were only made a couple of years, and are comparable in quality to a Streamer Standard or maybe a Corvette Standard. They were not popular, they are not that great, and they go for about $700 on the rare occasions that you see one.
A new MIM Fender is $550 in his country. So a trade for that, a hardshell cases and a couple of packs of strings wouldn't be too far off.
